Keto Chocolate Pralines
Fasting and Keto aren’t a lot of fun if you can’t indulge in something chocolaty and sweet every now and then. So I made these chocolate pralines that go perfectly with my morning bulletproof coffee.
They just melt in my mouth and makes me feel both full and emotionally very satisfied for hours to come.
I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I do.
1 package salted butter, soft room tempered
1/2 cup organic coconut oil, soft room tempered
1 cup pure Cocoa powder
1 cup grated dark baking chocolate
2 tbsp cold espresso coffee
1 tbsp cinnamon powder
Since I haven’t eaten any sugar or even sweeteners for some time now, I don’t feel the need to add any to this recipe. If you like it a bit sweeter however, feel free to add a bit of keto friendly sweetener to your recipe. You can also adapt it to your liking, like swapping cinnamon with vanilla, or changing the dry and fat ingredient ratios. You can also use unsalted butter and add a pinch of salt to your batter. Salt will lift the chocolate flavour.
Mix all ingredients together into a batter. Then with 2 teaspoons shape the chocolate batter into pralines. Drop them onto a dish with chocolate powder and cover the pralines in the powder. Let the pralines set in the fridge for approximately an hour.
Best served chilled
Serve the pralines either directly out of the fridge or take them out 10 minutes ahead of serving. At room temperature the pralines will again become very soft. While absolutely delicious, this soft they can be a bit hard to handle.
